功能	Phosphorylase is an important allosteric enzyme in carbohydrate metabolism. Enzymes from different sources differ in their regulatory mechanisms and in their natural substrates. However, all known phosphorylases share catalytic and structural properties.
总结	PYGM catalyzes and regulates the breakdown of glycogen to glucose-1-phosphate. Defects in PYGM are the cause of glycogen storage disease type 5 (GSD5), also known as McArdle disease. GSD5 is a metabolic disorder resulting in myopathy characterized by exercise intolerance, cramps, muscle weakness and recurrent myoglobinuria.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
储存条件	Store at +4°C short term. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

图像	Anti-PYGM Antibody (C-term) at 1:8000 dilution + human skeletal muscle lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 μg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at 1/10000 dilution. Predicted band size : 97 kDa Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST. Western blot analysis of PYGM (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal PYGM Antibody (C-term) (Cat. AMR09673G). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the PYGM gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies). Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human skeletal muscle tissue reacted with PYGM antibody (C-term) (Cat. AMR09673G), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
