功能	Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and are ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells.
总结	The product encoded by this gene belongs to the actinfamily of proteins, which are highly conserved proteins that play arole in cell motility, structure and integrity. Alpha, beta andgamma actin isoforms have been identified, with alpha actins beinga major constituent of the contractile apparatus, while beta andgamma actins are involved in the regulation of cell motility. Thisactin is an alpha actin that is found in skeletal muscle. Mutationsin this gene cause nemaline myopathy type 3, congenital myopathywith excess of thin myofilaments, congenital myopathy with cores,and congenital myopathy with fiber-type disproportion, diseasesthat lead to muscle fiber defects.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

图像	Western blot analysis of lysates from human placenta tissue lysate,RD cell line (from left to right), using ACTA1/α-actin Antibody (C-term)(Cat. AMM08742G). AMM08742G was diluted at 1:1000 at each lane. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L(HRP) at 1:10000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. ACTA1/α-actin Antibody (C-term) (AMM08742G)immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human skeletal muscle followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining.This data demonstrates the use of ACTA1/α-actin Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated. Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of ACTA1/α-actin Antibody (C-term)( AMM08742G) with A549 cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green).DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).
