总结	PGK2 is a form of phosphoglycerate kinase unique to spermatozoa. The autosomal PGK2 gene lacks introns and contains characteristics of a processed gene. The conservation of function in this processed PGK2 gene and its tissue-specific expression in spermatogenesis suggests that it exists as a compensatory response to the inactivation of the X-linked PGK1 gene in spermatogenic cells before meiosis.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma. Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human testis tissue reacted with PGK2 Antibody (N-term) (Cat. APR09089G), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
