功能	Modulates B-cell activation responses. Signaling could be triggered by the binding of a lectin-like ligand to the CD24 carbohydrates, and transduced by the release of second messengers derived from the GPI-anchor. Promotes AG-dependent proliferation of B-cells, and prevents their terminal differentiation into antibody-forming cells.
总结	CD24 is a sialoglycoprotein that is expressed on mature granulocytes and in many B cells. This protein is anchored via a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol (GPI) link to the cell surface.
形式	Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Western blot analysis of CD24 Antibody (N-Term) (Cat. APG02485G) in MCF-7 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). CD24 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab. Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma reacted with CD24 Antibody (N-Term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
