功能	Transcriptional repressor which binds to the consensus sequence 5'-GGTGTG-3'. Plays a role in the regulation of the circadian clock; binds to the GC box sequence in the promoter of the core clock component ARTNL/BMAL1 and represses its transcriptional activity. Regulates the circadian expression of genes involved in lipogenesis, gluconeogenesis, and glycolysis in the liver. Represses the expression of PCK2, a rate-limiting step enzyme of gluconeogenesis (By similarity). May play a role in the cell cycle regulation.
总结	TIEG is a transcriptional repressor involved in the regulation of cell growth. TIEG binds to the consensus sequence 5'-GGTGTG-3'and inhibits cell growth.

Western blot analysis of anti-TIEG Antibody (N-term) (Cat.APR06006G) pre-incubated with and without blocking peptide in CEM cell line lysate. TIEG(N-term)(arrow) was detected using the purified Pab . Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human prostata carcinoma tissue reacted with TIEG antibody (N-term) (Cat.APR06006G), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
