功能	Actin cross-linking/gelling protein (By similarity). Involved in calcium interactions and contractile properties of the cell that may contribute to replicative senescence.
总结	TAGLN is a transformation and shape-change sensitive actin cross-linking/gelling protein found in fibroblasts and smooth muscle. Its expression is down-regulated in many cell lines, and this down-regulation may be an early and sensitive marker for the onset of transformation. A functional role of this protein is unclear.

图像	Anti-TAGLN Antibody (N-term) at 1:8000 dilution + H. uterus whole cell lysate Lysates/proteins at 20 μg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at 1/10000 dilution. Predicted band size : 23 kDa Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST. Western blot analysis of TAGLN antibody (N-term) (Cat. APR05781G) in SK-Br-3 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). TAGLN (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab. Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human skeletal muscle reacted with TAGLN Antibody (N-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
